Petition for Revered Elder: Stephen Hawking
This is why:
"Even if there is only one possible unified theory, it is just a set of rules and equations. What is it that breathes fire into the equations and makes a universe for them to describe? The usual approach of science of constructing a mathematical model cannot answer the questions of why there should be a universe for the model to describe. Why does the universe go to all the bother of existing?" From A Brief History of Time (1991).

And that my friends is why I'm Agnostic...
I once saw a comic that over simplified the Science v. Religion argument. seen here...
http://tinyurl.com/5p6r4n
The frame is dark and two people (science and religion) start talking about what's in the room. Religion says "the room is full of dragons." Science doesn't buy it, "a room full of dragons? Bullshit."
So science gets his flashlight out and turns it on reveling an empty room. Haha, the internet atheist made a funny.
But what this cartoon fails to mention is, what's on the other side of the door?
Just a thought...(that cartoon sucks by the by)
